Initial Ideas Proposal

 horror; horror hq, horror international, scary one, 666 channel???  scare 666; efficient to find slogan- you are what you watch, so watch nightmare 666, and watch your nightmares come to life  or ... and become your worst nightmare.  or ... so watch phobia 666 and face your fears clown theme  advert one; girl sat on sofa or bed, different cuts of her moving, watching the film it on tv or on her laptop, bored. ominous voice asks if she’s bored of being stuck at home, then asks are you home alone? a creepy laugh occurs, she looks at door, pov shot, door then closes on its own, turns back to girl who is terrified looking at the camera, then screen cuts to red (lighting) and shes dressed in a clown costume.  advert two- two people walking down the street, either girl and boy or a nerd or jock to represent stereotypes, camera cuts to a red balloon floating towards them from other side of the street, camera follows the balloon and when it centres back on the two...

23/09/20 notes on continuity

 Effective story telling when it comes to film is important,you are creating something that isn't real and making people believe its real.Continuity editing is essentially a magic trip. Pacing and trajectory of the story. Continuity isn't just the set, it can be makeup, movement,speed and also character actions. Try to maintain a left-right on continuity.  180 degree rule is a basic guideline that states that two characters should always have the same left/right relationship to each other. 

Kuleshov Experiment

This task was the first i’ve ever done involving cutaways and attempting to show an emotion through the use of them, the task itself was very fun and in this particular clip, we tried to portray someone scared or concerned by the danger sign on the wall.
